TexAmericas Center Announces $1.5 Million Expansion of a Texarkana Area Company
We love to hear great news about local businesses growing. TexAmericas Center (TAC), has been making a lot of news since it is now one of the largest mixed-use industrial parks in the United States right here in Texarkana. The other great news is they just announced that Rowe Casa Organics another local company is doing very well also. Rowe Casa Organics is growing and they are once again expanding their operations at TAC with a 1.5 million expansion into a 24,000-square-foot complex of buildings.
Rowe Casa Organics has been a popular business in the Texarkana area for its all-natural supplements. They produce clean, non-toxic, high-quality, and effective products. Their line of products has grown to more than 250 products. Products for wellness and personal care, family, pets, household and even outdoor.
Rowe Casa has grown over the past few years and its products are available in over 400 retail stores in the country. With over 180,000 orders per year, they are busy and ready to expand.
Rowe Casa started at TexAmericas in 2019 and leased a 4,700-square-foot building. Now they will start with an investment of $1.5 million toward the expansion. They have 55 workers in the Texarkana area and will be adding 20 more employees.
Mike Guzzardo, CEO of Rowe Casa Organics stated in a press release;
This is an exciting time for Rowe Casa and we are thrilled that our growth has led us to this next chapter. This is more than just a business for us, this is a life-long mission to improve the health and well-being of our customers. We want to be able to reach as many people as we can.
The expansion to the existing complex should be ready by September of this year.
Scott Norton, Executive Director and CEO of TexAmericas Center said;
It is exciting to see a company like Rowe Casa leverage our capabilities and resources so that they can focus on growing their company. I don’t think it will be the last time we provide logistics services to Rowe Casa, as fast as they are growing we may be called upon to support them again.
It's amazing to see the businesses that have come to our area through TexAmericas. Last year there were 11 new businesses that moved to the center. Those businesses created 218 new jobs in our area. m for the region. Currently, the TexAmericas Center is at 90% capacity for the buildings that are move-in ready. With that in mind, TexAmericas Center is starting to focus on build-to-suit offerings for new clients.
