Texarkana Area COVID By-The-Numbers for July 21
The state of Texas has doubled its hospitalizations in the last 30 days, case numbers have almost tripled, the good news is deaths, while climbing, are not climbing at the same rate as cases and hospitalizations. Hopefully, that means treatments are working, hospital stays are shorter and most people either have mild symptoms or are asymptomatic.

Bowie County
In Bowie County, Texas DSHS reports 8 new cases and a total of 5332 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases with 20 probable cases, 227 deaths.
Fully Vaccinated age 12 - 64: 29%
Fully Vaccinated age 65 and older: 57%
Cass County
Cass County has 3 new cases and a total of 1413, plus 12 probable cases, COVID death total of 85.

Age 65 and over % Fully Vaccinated: 75%
Miller County
Miller County reports 4562 cumulative cases, 63 active cases, 4460 recovered cases, and a total of 37, COVID-19 related deaths. (7/21/21)

Miller County fully Vaccinated: 9.6%

Partially Vaccinated ages 12 and up: 9.89%
