Texarkana Arkansas Seach For Possible Suspect in Second Shooting Over The Weekend
A second shooting occurred on Sunday, December 4 in Texarkana, Arkansas.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to a call in the 2000 block of 24th Street around 3:28 PM in the afternoon. The call was about a teenager being shot. The victim was 19-year-old Keeunta Gilliam. Gilliam was taken to Wadley Regional Hospital and unfortunately died from his wounds.
The TAPD posted on their Facebook they have a possible suspect:
Investigators with TAPD have developed probable cause for the issuance of a Murder in the 1st Degree arrest warrant for Jamauri Davis, 18, of Texarkana.
Gilliam’s body is going to be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy. This is a continuing investigation.
Jamauri Martavious Davis is considered armed and dangerous. He is a black 18 year old male. Jamauri is 5'8" and 150 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair. He is wanted for Murder in the First Degree. His last known address is 2906 Grand Avenue in Texarkana Arkansas. Police say he was heard to be heading toward El Dorado. If you see Davis please do not approach.
