Texarkana – Join Us for East Texas Giving Day – April 29, 2025

East Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online fundraising event supporting nonprofits across 32 counties in East Texas. Organized by the East Texas Communities Foundation, this initiative unites the region to raise funds and awareness for local nonprofits. ​

In 2024, the event raised over $3.5 million for 366 charities. This year, with over $1.3 million in matching funds available, your donation can have an even greater impact.

About East Texas Communities Foundation:

Founded in 1989, the East Texas Communities Foundation was established by local leaders to support the charitable needs of East Texas. With early guidance from community figures and funding from the United Way of Tyler/Smith County, the Foundation reached $1 million in assets by 1994. In 1997, the board invested in growth by hiring a full-time executive director. Since then, ETCF has seen steady growth in assets, charitable funds, and grantmaking. Its success is driven by strong leadership, sound financial practices, and the generosity of East Texans who believe in giving back to their communities and the world.
