Texarkana Independent School District is celebrating a major achievement at the Digital Academy of Texas, which has officially been certified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School by FranklinCovey Education. This prestigious designation recognizes schools that demonstrate exceptional leadership, strong school culture, and academic excellence.

The Digital Academy of Texas is Texarkana ISD’s online public school, providing students in the district with a full, tuition-free education through a virtual learning environment while maintaining Texas curriculum standards and district oversight.
With this honor, the Digital Academy of Texas joins a growing list of Texarkana ISD Lighthouse Schools, including Martha and Josh Morriss Mathematics & Engineering Elementary, Nash Elementary, Parks Elementary, Theron Jones Early Literacy Center, Waggoner Creek Elementary, and Wake Village Elementary.
