It all happened Tuesday morning January 31 when TTDP arrested 71-year-old Helen Sanders and her 16-year-old son at her home on Casteel Street.

Sanders' grandson got into a fight with another boy at school earlier that day and the school suspended both boys and they were sent home.

The other boy's grandmother decided that it would be a good idea to take him to Sanders' house to put an end to the problems. When they got there, an argument broke out between the two groups. At some point during all of this, Sanders went back into her house and returned with a handgun, which she then handed to her grandson.
