Texarkana, Arkansas Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting that took place this past Sunday night on May 18 at the Village Park South Apartments.

The suspect is 20-year-old Randy L. Page Jr. was arrested Wednesday afternoon (May 21) after detectives received a felony warrant. He is now being held at the Miller County Detention Center and is facing some serious charges, including Aggravated Robbery, six counts of Terroristic Acts and First Degree Battery.

Here's What We Know About The Texarkana Shooting May 18

Earlier this week, we reported that on Sunday night (May 18) at around 8:50 PM, calls came in reporting that gunshots had been heard at the Village Park South Apartments located on East Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. Then, more calls came in about a possible shooting victim at the EZ Mart on 1205 East Street. Officers were trying to figure out it the two shootings and locations were connected.

Police and sheriff's deputies arrived at the apartments they found Randy Page suffering from a gunshot wound. At the other location (EZ Mart), police found another gunshot victim, 20-year-old Artaja Mitchell.

At EZ Mart, police also came across a third person, 20-year-old Scirs Purifory, who was arrested for an unrelated shooting.

Both shooting victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment, and luckily, both survived.

The Texarkana, Arkansas, Police want to assure the community they are working hard to keep our community safe and bring justice to those affected by this violence.
