The City of Texarkana, Texas Municipal Court has announced its Amnesty Program. It will run from Monday, February 3 through Thursday, April 17, 2025. If you have and outstanding warrant from the Texarkana Texas Municipal Court now is the time to come forward and take care of it during this time. Why? Because the court can resolve them without the risk of arrest.
How Does The Amnesty Program Work on Warrants in Texarkana Texas?
To take advantage of the program, you must pay your warrants in full using cash, money orders, or debit/credit cards (with a processing fee). Checks and online payments will not be accepted. You can make those payments Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 4:45 PM, at the Texas Pay Fine Window located on the first floor of the Bi-State Justice Building, at 100 N. State Line, Texarkana, Texas.
Once the payment is made, the warrant will be recalled. This will ensure you that no further legal action will be taken. However and this is a big however, residents are urged to act before the April 17 deadline. After April 17, if you have any unresolved warrants you could be arrested, pay additional fines, and the possibility of jail time.
