You've heard the words "Keepin' It Country." Well, Texas country artist Jon Wolfe embodies that statement. Jon Wolfe will be performing at the Electric Cowboy on Friday, May 27.

This singer-songwriter from a small town in Oklahoma has been inspired by artists like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam and others. If you like George Strait you're going to love the sound that Jon Wolfe brings to the table. Wolfe has developed a huge legion of fans playing the honky-tonks, dance halls, bar rooms, all the way to Nashville's famed Music Row.

Wolfe has already churned out six consecutive Top 10 singles, “Let A Country Boy Love You,” “That Girl In Texas,” “I Don’t Dance,” “It All Happened In A Honky Tonk," “The Only Time You Call” and “What Are You Doin’ Right Now." He's also been opening up for some of country music's biggest stars and has played 400 live shows over the past four years.

His latest album Natural Man shows off his ability as an artist and pushes him vocally and musically as an artist with the classic traditional country sound but with a little edge and contemporary feel. His debut single off the album "Smile on Mine" went #1 on the Texas Music Charts followed up by another #1 chart-topper "Don't It Feel Good."

Now, Wolfe has just released his newest single "Singin' Thing," which touches on his love affair with country music and how it all began for him as a singer.
