Texas Governor Greg Abbott today announced the formation of a new tsk force in Texas geared toward safety at concert venues, all in the wake of the tragedy of the Astrowolrd Festival last weekend in Houston.

It will be called the Texas Task Force on Concert Safety. The Festival in Houston lead to at least eight concertgoers dead and injured hundreds more. According to the Press Release from the Governor's Office today, the head of the task force will be Texas Music Office Director Brendon Anthony and will include safety experts, law enforcement, firefighters, state agencies, music industry leaders, and others. This group will be tasked to find ways to enhance security at live music events in the state and produce a report of recommendations and strategies to ensure concert safety and protect concertgoers.

"To ensure that the tragedy that occurred at the Astroworld Festival never happens again, I am forming the Texas Task Force on Concert Safety. From crowd control strategies to security measures to addressing controlled substances, this task force will develop meaningful solutions that will keep Texans safe while maximizing the joy of live music events."

Some Alligators In Arkansas You Can Touch - Most You Can't

If you're looking for a great day trip for the whole family may I recommend a fun outing at the Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo in Hot Springs, Arkansas? My wife has been visiting this fun attraction since she was a little girl, we manage to get around to seeing it every couple of years or so and for the most part, it stays pretty much the same, but it's always fun to pet a baby gater.
