Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk Nov. 24

Get ready for the Huffin' For The Stuffin' Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot presented by Community Healthcore Foundation on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016.

The event takes place at Spring Lake Park beginning at 8AM with the 5K Run/ 1-Mile Walk. Registration starts at 7AM. In addition to the race their will be a costume contest where you dress yourself, your pets or strollers in your best turkey costumes.  And make sure you enter the turkey call contest for some great prizes.  Kids can join in on the children's races and have some fun in the inflatable bounce area too. Entry fee for the 5K Run or the 1-Mile Walk is $25. If you want to have your pets tag along, the cost is $10 per pet and strollers.

What is Community Healthcore?

Community Healthcore is the local authority for mental health services, providing services to nine area counties. They also provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities and have a veterans program as well.
