The Muses Project Celtic Spring Concert Coming to Texarkana

Have you ever heard of The Muses Project of Hot Springs, Arkansas? .

Well, get ready Texarkana because they are bringing their Celtic Spring Concert to Cabe Hall at the Regional Arts Center on Thursday, March 9, at 7 PM for a St. Patrick's Day celebration.

The Muses Project is a 90-minute concert that is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Irish, Scottish, and English ballads and folk songs. You are going to hear some traditional favorites such as “Parting Glass” and “The Rocky Road to Dublin,” along with stirring renditions of sacred selections, “Be Thou My Vision” and “Gaelic Blessing.”

You will feel like you have been transported back in time with talented professional female lead vocalists, instrumentalists, young artists, and dancers who will perform in solos, duets, and various ensembles, all in the style of the Celtic Women.

Professional instrumentalists Shana Norton, Irish harpist, and Adrienne Inglis, flutist, will be joined by the Muses House Band including piano, drums, and trombone along with lead sopranos, a mixed voice ensemble of Muses Young Artists, and talented dancers.

This performance is sponsored by the Patterson-Troike Foundation and presented by the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council.
