If you are a single parent working on a college degree in Arkansas, here is some great news. The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF)  has announced it will be increasing its scholarship amounts for the Fall 2023 semester.

These scholarships are not the traditional type of scholarship we are accustomed to. These scholarships are awarded to help pay for·expenses that will help single parents stay in school. The money can be used to help with childcare costs, tuition and study equipment like laptops.

ASPSF Executive Director Ruthanne Hill said in a press release;

Everything’s gotten more expensive, and the single-parent scholarship doesn’t stretch as far as it used to. We know that, and we want to help. We hope the increase in scholarship amount will offset some of those increases.
