Country superstar Tim McGraw will be kicking off his Shotgun Rider Tour Friday, June 5, at Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Ark. Special guests will include Billy Currington and newcomer Chase Bryant.McGraw is a very busy man these days. Not only is he about to embark on a new tour but he can be seen in the new Disney sci-fi action thriller "Tomorrowland" in which he stars opposite George Clooney. Having already had memorable roles in movies like Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side, Four Christmases and Country Strong, McGraw feels right at home whether on the stage or behind the camera.

Recently, it was announced by the website Deadline that McGraw has landed a role in a new series on TNT being developed named "Robbers" based on a 2000 novel about two drifters who go on a crime spree in Texas. Supposedly, McGraw is expected to play one of the bad guys in the series.

McGraw also has been named Time's 100 most influential people in the world compiled by the editors of Time Magazine.

McGraw is now onto his fourth single "Diamond Rings and Old Barstools" off his current album Sundown Heaven Town and his cousin Catherine Dunn had the honor of singing on the record with him. In addition, McGraw is the most played Country artist since his debut in 1992 with two singles that spent over ten weeks at No. 1 on the charts "Live Like You Were Dying" and "Over and Over."

This three-time Grammy winner and nominee has received numerous awards throughout the years and has achieved success accomplishing what most artists dream about doing. It's pretty safe to say that whether on stage performing or acting on the big screen McGraw is here for the long haul.
