Two men were seriously injured in a shooting overnight at an apartment complex on College Drive in Texarkana. Police are still working to determine what led to the shooting.

According to the Texarkana Texas Police, officers were called to the back of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of College Drive just before 2 AM after receiving a report that someone had been shot.

Shortly afterward, officers received information about a second shooting victim in the area of Summerhill Road and West 40th Street. A few minutes later, that victim was found in the CVS parking lot on North Stateline Avenue on the Texas side.

Investigators later determined that both men had been shot during the same incident at the apartment complex, even though they were found in different locations.

Both victims had serious gunshot wounds, and officers immediately began providing lifesaving measures when they found them. The men were taken to Christus St. Michael Hospital for treatment before being airlifted to hospitals in Little Rock, Arkansas.
