Country newcomer Tyler Farr has scored his first Top 20 hit with, "Redneck Crazy" which is the same name of his upcoming debut album. Farr who is from Garden City, Missouri got his inspiration and love of country music from his step-father who played lead guitar for the late George Jones.Tyler eventually moved to Nashville and took a job at the world famous Tootsie's Lounge as a bouncer for about five months. Eventually, he finally talked management into letting him play and well, as you know the rest is history.

An avid love for the great outdoors Farr eventually hooking up with another outdoorsman and fellow singer songwriter Rhett Akins. His connections with Rhett in the songwriting community of Nashville landed him a record deal with Sony Music Nashville's BNA Records.

So far in Tyler Farr's young career he has opened show for Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann and toured extensively with Colt Ford for which he wrote a song called "Hey Y'all."

I say keep your eye on this newcomer because I think he's got a great sound.

You can catch Tyler Farr in concert w/ Easton Corbin at the Arkansas Music Pavillion in Fayetteville, Arkansas August 17 and at the Showtime concert series in El Dorado, Arkansas on August 31.
