Veteran’s Day Parade in Texarkana This Saturday
Everyone loves a parade! Veteran's Day is Sunday, but the Veteran's Day Parade will be Saturday, November 10 in downtown Texarkana.
The parade is hosted by The Texarkana Area Veterans Council (tavc) and will start at 11AM at the corners of East Broad Street and Hazel Street.
The theme this year is "World War I – 100 Years". Be sure to come downtown and show your support for veterans. Veterans past, present and future. Be sure to dress in your Red, White and Blue and bring an American flag if you can.

Then on Monday, November 12 celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Korea/Vietnam Memorial in downtown Texarkana. The ceremony will begin at 6:30PM.
And in Avery, Texas it's their annual Veterans' Day Ceremony Monday, November 12 at 1:30PM at the Gene Weaver Gymnasium located at 150 San Antonio Street in Avery.
