W Is For Wishing – The ABCs Of Cancer

If you could have one wish, what would it be?

At St. Jude, I think everyone has the same wish - that one day kids won't get sick! Can you imagine a time when no one came down with diseases? When doctors,nurses, researchers, hospitals and medicines were a thing of the past?

Unfortunately, that wish hasn't come true yet. Little kids like the ones we have talked about and written about for the past two days continue to be diagnosed with diseases which are almost incomprehensible. That's why we have the Country Cares Radiothon every year at Kicker and other radio stations around the country. We have to raise big money to keep St. Jude open, to carry on the research that will eventually cure cancer for good.
