
Waggin’ Wiener Run Returns with Races, Fun, and Wienermobile Visit
Dog lovers and families are invited to a full day of fun as the 2nd Annual Waggin’ Wiener Run returns on Saturday, April 11, at Hopkins Icehouse.
Hosted by LNKTXK and presented by ITNS, the fundraiser benefits the Texarkana Animal League, helping support animals in need across the area.
Exciting Wiener Events:
The event features the always-entertaining weenie dog races, along with “Wiener-Be” races for other small breeds under 35 pounds. Attendees can also enjoy live music, pet vendors, face painting, and a pet costume contest open to all dogs.
Wiener Bonus!
Adding to the excitement, the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be on-site from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., giving visitors a chance to take photos and meet the famous “Hotdoggers.”
The event kicks off with check-in at noon, followed by races throughout the afternoon and a hot dog-eating contest.

Entry Fee: $35 per dog
Schedule Highlights:
12:00 PM: Check-in (deadline 12:45 PM)
1:00 PM: Weenie Dog Races
2:00 PM: Hot Dog Eating Contest (limited entry)
3:00 PM: Wiener-Be Races (dogs under 35 lbs)
4:00 PM: Finalist Race
Prizes will be awarded to race winners and costume contest winners, and all entrants will receive a race-day goodie bag.
