Walmart Enforcing New Rules For Shoppers At All Arkansas Stores
Groceries are expensive. I'm usually in a bit of shock when I hit the pay button. We are all struggling to find the best prices and a lot of us go to Walmart for that reason.
Walmart announced awhile back there would be some store policies changing and now it's official. These policies have changed and are in effect in all Arkansas stores and all across the country.
The store has been going through some big changes lately. A remodeled look and experience is in the works and they announced they have slashed the prices of over 7,000 products.
Now if you want to save even more money, you might not be happy about what has Walmart changed. They have changed their coupon policies and they are in effect now. If you use coupons, get ready because they are really cracking down on the use of these.
According to the Coupons in The News website here is what they are now enforcing,
No More Coupon Overages or Cash Back
This is also called 'money maker deals'. You use a coupon and if the coupon is worth more than the item then you'd get cash back or have it applied to your total transaction and that included WIC and SNAP. That is no longer, it's gone. Now the lowest price you can get with a coupon is $0.00.
Only 4 Identical Coupons Per Day
There was no limit on identical coupons. Now there is a limit. Only up to 4 identical coupons even if the manufacturer coupon says 'up to six' per household per day. If the coupon says limit 2 then you are limited to 2. You still can use any amount of different coupons, just be courteous because some of us can't wait forever for you to finish entering your handful of coupons.
The Register Rejects a Coupon...It's Done
You used to be able to call an employee or manager to manually override the register if it didn't recognize a coupon. That courtesy is gone. The register is now in charge. If it doesn't like the coupon for any reason, it's done...and you are out of luck.
The video below explains in even more detail the changes.
