Very soon you will notice a change coming to Wendy's. The Wendy’s logo we've been accustomed to seeing is coming to an end for the first time since 1983. It's all in conjunction with Wendy's image in becoming known as a high-end hamburger restaurant.

The new logo shies away from the almost-30-year-old boxed in, red-and-yellow burger badge with a distinguished new red font against a plain white background and a more mature cartoon image of the girl known as Wendy.

The Ohio based company has looked and tested dozens of new logos over the past several months, according to Wendy’s CEO Emil Brolick, the company is going to replace  it's current three-decade-old brand image with the new logo.

In addition, customers can also expect to start seeing renovations to outdated restaurants complete with natural lighting, new TVs and more variety in seating options, according to Brolick.

Wendy’s is hoping that its new makeover will help make the restaurant competitive with places like Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill, which are typically considered higher-end eating establishments.

I'm not so sure I like the new logo. It's going to have to grow on me I guess,  it actually looks older to me - almost nostalgic.

Here's something I thought you might enjoy seeing again.
