Arkansas' Best Burger Contest Winner

The Arkansas Beef Council just wrapped up its “Arkansas' Best Burger Contest”  competition after accepting nominations throughout September the overall winner was announced as well as the rest of the Top 10.

On October 11, Bailey's Family Restaurant in Cave City was crowned the champion for having the best burger in the state. According to a report from KAIT-News 8, Bailey's hasn't been open for quite a year but has been given the dubious honor and bragging rights for having  Arkansas' Best Burger.

First of all, the burger is rather large it comes on a 9-inch bun with two pounds of meat and a knife stuck in the middle, it's a beast of a burger called the Cave Man burger, and people are driving from all over the state to try the monster burger.

According to the Arkansas Beef Council, the burger was judged on several categories, flavor, tenderness, and quality. After 2,400 nominations and 410 burgers, Bailey's was chosen as the winner from the finalists in five regions.
