Mark your calendars now to experience the magic of the holiday season in Camden, Arkansas that promises to deliver "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Winter Nights and Magical Lights," beginning on November 26, 2019.

According to their press release, there will be no shortage of yuletide spirit and cheer in the Queen City, where a variety of Christmas-themed activities and events have been planned from late November until mid-December.

Organizer Charlotte Young said the inaugural Camden Christmas Campaign will truly be a community event, explaining that organizers sought input from a cross-section of local residents on what they would like to see in a holiday celebration.

Surveys were distributed on social media sites and at Southern Arkansas University Tech.

“The feedback was really heavy on horse-and-carriage rides, Christmas movies and a living nativity and there were a lot of responses for more Christmas lights,” Young said.

To plan just the right holiday campaign for Camden, organizers combined ideas from the local community with ideas that were inspired by Christmas celebrations in other cities across the U.S.
