You’re Gonna Love a New Coffeehouse Coming to Texarkana

If you have been traveling down Richmond Road lately you have probably noticed a building being constructed next to the Sonic where Holiday Cleaners used to be.

Well, Starbucks just got some competition with a new Scooter's Coffee Drive-Thru store coming to Texarkana in the coming months. When I was traveling up through Northwest Arkansas this holiday season I noticed several in the Bentonville Rogers area. I stopped there to try one of their signature drinks the Caramelicious and it was just that delicious with a capital D.

Co-founders Don and Linda Eckles opened their first drive-thru coffeehouse in Bellevue, Nebraska in 1998. Their continued success is based upon finding the best locations and serving the best quality drinks, with fast service and good people working their drive-thru business.

Scooter's Coffee roasts from the Top 10 percent coffee beans in the world and specialize in serving hot, ice, or blended coffee. And for fun, every cup of coffee comes with a happy smiley sticker something that Linda Eckles started doing to add a little personal touch of happiness to every cup. It's just Linda's way of saying "Have an Amazing Day."

In addition to coffee, they will also have a variety of flavored teas, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, and their popular cinnamon rolls. From time to time, they will also have limited-time items like Red Velvet cake bites and other specialty drinks. Drink cards, coffee tumblers, and take-home coffee will also be available for purchase.

Coffee fans will also enjoy their seasonal drinks a big hit with customers as well.
