New this year are the 10K run and the one mile Fun Run for kids. Registration for the 5K and 10K starts at 7 a.m. and the races start at 7:30. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for male and female in each age category as well as for overall male and overall female. There will also be a category for moms or dads running with strollers. The entry fee is $25 before April 26 and $35 on or after that date. All runners receive a t-shirt.

Walk registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and there will be plenty of activities all morning. The one mile Fun Run starts at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9:30 a.m. after the race winners have been announced.

All walkers who raise $100 or more receive a T-shirt (runners who reach this fundraising level will also receive a prize). There will also be prizes for team themes, so have fun and get creative! This will be a fun morning with bounce houses, music, face painting, pancakes for purchase, and lots of other activities between events, so bring the family (including the dog)! Funds raised will go directly to services for men and women in our community facing unplanned pregnancies that will empower them to choose life.

The overall goal this year is to raise $40,000! To donate or register go to their website. For more information please call Laura McDowell at 903- 748-3408.
