Army Strong [VIDEO]

Six year old Evan Pertile has loved the Army since the ripe old age of two and a half; yet, he never met a soldier. On Thanksgiving night, Evan woke up with a terrible headache, and his life was changed forever.  He was diagnosed with cancer.  Watch this video, it is very moving...

Everyone can make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer. Evan is here today because of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  The physicians and staff treated his cancer, brought him back from the edge during two ICU visits, supported him, believed in him, and obliterated his cancer.  Evan continues to fly back to Memphis every 3 months for check-ups, and while I wish I could say each check-up gets a little easier (the fear is too ingrained for complacence), I can say he has a whopping 16 months of NO DETECTABLE SIGNS OF CANCER! I can't ask for more than that.
