I am a Texarkana Native, having been born and raised right here. I have been in the Radio Business since October 1982 and have been News & Sports Director since May 1993. I love relaying severe weather and snow reports to our listeners. My most fun is reserved for fall Friday Nights when I have the honor of broadcastin the play-by-play of Arkansas High Razorback Football on Eagle 106.3 FM.

I am married and have two wonderful children, a boy age 8 and a daughter who is 4, they are my life!!!!

I enjoy cooking and eating a batch of good ole Texas Chile and I love snow days!!!!

Viral Meningitis Case Confirmed in Texarkana

A Texas A&M University-Texarkana student is hospitalized with a confirmed case of viral meningitis. Aseptic meningitis is serious but rarely fatal in people with normal immune systems.

City Board Meeting Tonight

The Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Directors meets tonight at City Hall. The evening begins with a TWU Water and Sewer Workshop at 5:30 followed by the regular meeting at 6:30.

During the regular session Texarkana Water Utilities Executive Director Bill King will offer the board a presentation regarding water and sewer infrastructure

It’s Official: Athletics Dropped at Texarkana College

We  knew it was coming, but the Texarkana College Board of Trustees made it official yesterday as they voted to end Athletic Programs at the college after this Spring Semester ends.

The move to cut baseball, softball, and golf will save the college a half million dollars annually and mean the loss of coaching jobs

Bomb Threat Suspect Arrested

A Bomb threat ended with the arrest of a local man. Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the Dollar General Store in the 1300 block of Dudley Street.  Witnesses say a suspect entered the store filled his basket with merchandise and then was unable to provide payment and was asked to leave the store

The Only Snowman in Texarkana This Year???

The snow didn’t last long yesterday after a cold rain washed most of it away by afternoon. However the 1 ½ inches did last long enough for my 9 year old son to build a snowman.

Winter Finally Arrives for a Day!!

Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect until Noon today across the northern portion of the four states area. Bridges and overpasses have some ice on them and there have been reports of several accidents on Interstate 30 and the Loops around Texarkana
