Bark For Your Park Celebration Planned Friday, August 3 (Update)

Everyone is excited and thrilled to find out if Texarkana is the winner of the $100,000 Grand Prize for the national contest Petsafe  Bark For Your Park. More details have come in about the celebration planned for downtown Texarkana at the Front Street Festival Plaza from 6:30 - 9 p.m. today.

We've learned now that these musical acts will be performing Copper Road, Tex-Rep Children's Choir and Texarkana, The Musical.

Hot Diggity Dog Stand will sell snacks and drinks for a small fee and there will be bounce houses and big slides for kids.

Guess the final vote and win a prize! Seating will be available but please bring a lawn chair just in case.    Also, fans, porta-coolers (working on misters) will be on the site to keep everyone cooled down.

Please bring dog food, leashes, shampoo, beds, etc to be donated to the shelter and rescue groups if you are able.
