The original Harlem Globetrotters will be dribbling their way into the Four States Entertainment Center on Tuesday, January 27. This Thursday afternoon during my show I will have the honor to talk with Globetrotters player Handles Franklin.

Texas singer-songwriter Adam Fears is coming back to Texarkana Saturday, January 24, to perform in concert at Fat Jack's bar & grill. Fears was there back in early November for an acoustic performance with a couple of band members, but this time he's bringing his entire band for a plugged-in version.

There are several new movies in theaters this weekend worth checking out.

Main Street El Dorado will present Vince Gill & Friends live on Thursday, March 19 at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium 100 W 8th Street. The concert, which will also feature rising country stars Ashley Monroe, Charlie Worsham & Jenny Gill begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.

We all live in a digital world these days, it's pretty evident everywhere you look. The Exhibition is a traveling exhibit that uses the latest digital x-ray technology. The Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services, the exhibit is known as X-ray Vision: Fish Inside Out. Nothing like starting out the new year scary! Meaning that the first movie release of 2015 is a sequel about the Eel Marsh House set back in the wore torn WWII era "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death." This drama/horror flick is about some children who have to be evacuated from London during wartime only to arrive at the house to awaken to some not so friendly dark spirits.

If you're going to the movies this weekend there is a movie of biblical proportions -- an epic saga from Twentieth Century Fox 'Exodus: Gods and Kings.' It's a movie I would think would have been better suited to be released during the Easter season. The movie is a big time Ridley Scott version of the story of Moses as he is beckoned from God to free the Egyptian slaves.
