If you're going to the movies this weekend there is a movie of biblical proportions -- an epic saga from Twentieth Century Fox 'Exodus: Gods and Kings.' It's a movie I would think would have been better suited to be released during the Easter season. The movie is a big time Ridley Scott version of the story of Moses as he is beckoned from God to free the Egyptian slaves. The last big biblical story of Moses was the Ten Commandments (classic) starring Charlton Heston back in 1956. Technology has come a long way since then so I am sure the great fire tornado, turning the sea into blood, hail-fire storm and the massive parting of the seas will be phenomenal.

Moses will be played by Christian Bale. Pharaoh Ramses is played by actor Joel Edgerton and Sigourney Weaver plays his wife.

If you like lots of dramatic battle scenes and great shots of an Ancient Egypt you're going to love this movie. The Bible has so many stories that I love but the story of Moses is one that is most memorable because there was so much that transpired from the birth of Moses to his calling from God to being chosen to deliver the greatest commandments of all time, 'The Ten Commandments.'

'Exodus:Gods and Kings' (PG-13) in theaters this weekend. Enjoy!
