Last week was cold, really cold. It even got super cold on the Texas coastline. With temperatures that cold, organizations were out trying to save turtles caught in the cold waters off the Texas coast.
As most roads are thawing in and around the Texarkana area there are still a few school districts that have decided to be on the safe side and cancel school today Thursday, January 18.
With another hard freeze tonight in the Texarkana area that will mean that some roads will not be ready for safe travel. Some of the area schools will be closed again for Wednesday others will have a delayed start.
