Celebrating George Strait
Everyone knows George Straits final concert tour is coming to a end in Arlington this weekend.
Concert goers are invited to stop by the Texas Travel Information Center to take pictures with photo props and the actual autographed chair George Strait sat in while filming the Don’t Mess With Texas commercial. Local hotels and vendors will be set up on Friday, June 6, to welcome the excited concert goers to Texarkana.
The Four States Auto Museum will also have cars on display at the center on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The photo props and chair will be available both Friday and Saturday.
The Travel Information Center’s summer hours of operation are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
