Chase Bryant dropped a knee to ask his girlfriend Kourtney Keller to marry him in the exact spot where they shared their first kiss.

Keller starred in Bryant's music video for "Room to Breathe" last year. The singer hoped making the video would kindle a romantic turn in the couple's friendship at the time, and it seems to have worked out in his favor. In the music video, they kiss on the Demonbreun Bridge in Nashville, where he recreated the event on a rainy summer night for a proposal.

The singer posted a photo from the moment on Instagram, with a shout out to People magazine for their role in the setup.

"Thanks @people for helping put this whole story together." Bryant posted, with the hashtag, #engaged.

“If you told me at the moment we met that I would be lucky enough to marry Kourtney, I would have said you were crazy,” Bryant tells People. “It was incredible that we were able to have this special moment in the same spot as our first kiss. We are so excited to see what our future together holds.”

Bryant is currently on the road with Brad Paisley's Weekend Warrior Tour and just released his new single, "Hell If I Know," which is available for download on iTunes.
