College Grant Contingent on Bowie County Vote

A $300,000 dollar grant to Texarkana College is contingent on voters approving a tax annexation election next Tuesday.The Horace C. Cabe Foundation says they will award the college the money in $100,000 increments over the next three years, but only if Bowie County voters pass the measure to expand the Texarkana College taxing district to include the entire county.

The funds would benefit the TC@TexAmericas Center, which is a workforce training site.
