The Dallas Cowboys won their home opener but it was not pretty. The Cowboys improved to 2-1 by beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-10 in Arlington. They won despite 3 turnovers and 4 sacks on Quarterback Tony Romo.

The positive was the Dallas defense which only gave up around 165 yards total offense against the Bucs.

But the Cowboys are going to have to cut back on the turnovers and get their running game going if they plan on competing against the Giants in the NFC East. Dallas averaged only 1.7 yards per carry against Tampa Bay.

Next up on the schedule is a home game Monday October 1st against the Chicago Bears who are also 2-1 on the young season.
