If you have ever been to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee then chances are you've been to Dollywood theme park and Splash Country. Now it looks like the country music diva will be building a new theme park in Nashville. The 114 acre park is estimated to cost $50 million dollars and will be funded by Dollywood Company and Gaylord Entertainment. The park is to be built near the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The complex will be a water park during warmer months and will manufacture snow for activities during the winter. It's reportedly the first park in the nation to create such a combination.  If everything goes according to plan, Dolly hopes to open the new theme park in the summer of 2014.

You might remember Nashville had another theme park "Opryland  USA " which closed in 1997 and was replaced by Opry Mills Mall which is still open today.

Dolly had the honor of making the announcement on her 66th birthday on Thursday of this week.
