You know they say everything is Bigger and Better in Texas and here's proof in the pudding. The state of Texas has always taken their football serious.Playing High School Football in Texas is pretty much equivalent to college football. The fans are passionate and the love for their teams are unmatched anywhere in High School Football. Football is so big in Texas that it spawned a major movie "Friday Night Lights" and then a TV series of the same name.

So fans in Allen, Texas (suburb of Dallas) are getting a new $60 Million Dollar Stadium in 2012 that will seat 18,000 and will feature state of the art equipment. This stadium will more than likely be the envy of some college presidents.

Congratulations to the new home of  the Allen Eagles Football Team and to the Allen Eagles Escadrille Marching Band!
