Texarkana College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Southern Arkansas University for a smooth transition for TC Students into their programs.

In the agreement SAU commits to treat Texarkana College graduates the same as Arkansas community college graduates. Courses transferred from Texarkana College will now be accepted fully to SAU.


Texas Governor Rick Perry held a ceremonial signing of a new law intended to limit frivolous lawsuits. Other Republicans joined the Governor to tout the "loser pays" bill today in Houston. The measure backed by Perry and passed by the recent Texas Legistlature goes into effect September 1st.
