J.W.’s News Update: Wednesday November 15, 2011

Consumers paid less for gasoline, cars and computers last month as overall prices dropped for the 1st time since June. Inflation is easing after praices rose sharply in the spring.

The Labor Department says the consumer Price Index dropped 0.1% in October after rising 0.3% the previous month.

Hempstead County officials are releasing the name of a man whose body was found in an abandoned house. The remains are that of 64 year old James Watson of Stamps. The cause of death is pending.
