A fatal traffic accident claims the life of a Texarkana, Arkansas man. The Texas DPS says  39 year old Michael Anderson was killed men the vehicle he was driving blew a  tire left the roadway and overturned. Authorities say the accident occured around 12:45 this morning near mile marker 150 on Interstate 30 in Franklin County in Northeast Texas.

A passenger in the vehicle 21 year old Jonitta Lambert also of Texarkana, Arkansas received minor injuries in the accident.

A three year old girl is dead after a house fire occurred Sunday morning at a home in the 1400 block of West 10th street. Firefighters say when they arrived half the house was engulfed and it took around one hour to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities say five adults and three childreen were in the home at the time the fire started and that everyone managed to escaped but the three year old victim. The investigation into what caused the deadly fire is underway and the girl's body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Oil prices down under $84 dollars a barrel in trading today. Oil was at $115 dollars a barrel back in early May.
