Jeff Bates Coming To Shooters! [VIDEO]

Country star Jeff Bates is coming to Shooters Bar & Grill Friday, October 14th. It's been awhile since this Mississippi boy with ties to Arkansas makes his way back to this area.A singer songwriter with a deep raspy voice who's been compared to sound a lot like the late Conway Twitty and at times like Trace Adkins. Bates welcomes the Conway comparisons, Conway was one of his early influences growing up and if you go see a Jeff Bates concert, chances are you'll see him pay homage to Conway.

In 2003 Jeff Bates signed with RCA Records and released the album 'Rainbow Man' which spawned 3 singles that made it into the Top 40 Billboard Charts. Still one of my favorite albums to listen to with "The Love Song" "I Wanna Make You Cry" and "Long Slow Kisses" which also made it on his second album "Leave The Light On" as a re-mix.

Currently, Jeff Bates label is Black River Music Group "One Day Closer" was released February 2011.

His newest single is "He Wasn't Like Us" which touches on Jeff's spiritual side, most Jeff Bates fans know he has come a long way since his dark days of addiction. Now Jeff has found the light and he has taken on a new journey that his filled with redemption.

Jeff continues to stay busy with charitable work that is close to his heart like" Toys For Tots" and even helped with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts for is home state Mississippi a few years ago.
