I finally took a few days off to celebrate my "Birth-WEEK"... What??? You don't celebrate a whole week for your birthday? Strange. Well, for my Birthday my daughters Amanda, and Danna along with our friend Celine took me to Rowdy Adventures in Okolona Arkansas to do the Zip-Line Course. We had a BLAST!

First off, it is real easy to get there. We went East on I-30 for about one hour to exit 54, take a left, and just on the other side of the highway is the entrance to the park on the left. You can see the practice platforms from the interstate.

Tour prices start at $29.99, up to $79.99. We chose our tour, and filled out the required paperwork. There was not a lot of people to doing the whole course, most were doing the quick short trip which does include the longest zip-line in the south.  So, we had to wait a few minutes for Josh Lockwood, and Samantha Hill to come over from Delight, AR. to guide us on the entire course. We could not have asked for better guides than these two... they truly ROCK! They knew so much about the woods, and the creatures there in. Plus, they kept us laughing.  Josh has enlisted with the United States Marines, and will be leaving for boot camp soon. So visit their website, and get their phone number to call ahead and ask for this young man to be your guide.

We had a group of 6 zip-liners, so 8 people total with Josh and Sam leading the group... we did the entire course in just a little over 3 hours time. We had plenty of water breaks, and rest stops to beat the heat. We had lots of laughs, and a really good time overall. Saw lots of cool sites, some wildlife, and I really enjoyed the way they had the nature trails laid out. Plus got a chuckle from some of the signs of Rowdy's sayings...

Danna and I both took our cameras thinking that we were going to take lots of pictures, most of which are posted on my Facebook page. I also brought along my flip-cam, not thinking of just how difficult it would be trying to video, while flying through the air.

Here is a mix of all of the video from my camera, and Danna's...

Here is a quick little photo Gallery from our "Great Arkansas Rowdy Adventure"...

So... the big question is..."Would I go back?"

Yes... I WILL GO BACK TO ROWDY ADVENTURES... Life is short, HAVE FUN!
