As much as we would like to think it over, COVID is still around and it's hitting Arkansas hard right now. The latest variant has some really strange symptoms that we all need to be aware of.

We all know most of the symptoms to watch out for in Covid.

There are two new symptoms of the latest COVID variant JN. 1. It's important to know these symptoms because they are totally unlike any symptom we've seen for any virus so far. It's also important to watch out for these symptoms because the CDC is reporting that JN. 1 is now the dominant variant up to 29% of the COVID cases coming from JN. 1 back in December.

Now The Two Big New Strange Symptoms of The 'New' COVID Are:

High Anxiety

In a report from the U.K., 10.5% of people with JN. 1 said they experienced more anxiety while sick than normal. Personally, that's kind of strange considering when you are sick the most I've been able to do is watch TV in a zombie state or I'm out like a light and fast asleep. Which by the way brings us to the second new symptom.

Trouble Sleeping

This is the most bizarre symptom because, seriously have you ever had a problem sleeping when you are sick? This was the other symptom that was noticed in the U.K. with 10.8% reported they had trouble sleeping.

The good news is that even though Covid is still around the new variants aren't as strong as the original one. The CDC does say that the new COVID-19 vaccinations do help with the JN. 1.
