The city council has made it clear they in no way support this event, because they feel it's inappropriate for a family parade. However, despite the city council's objections, Ms Frederick intends to go ahead with her plans to march 451 bikini wearing women in the Paddle Fish Days parade on July 28 to break the Guinness World Record for the largest bikini parade.

Registration to march in the parade is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the march. All the money raised will be given to the Breast Cancer Natural Prevention foundation.
