The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested 49 year old Gregory Williams of Texarkana, Arkansas, after he allegedly fired shots at another vehicle following a crash.

Authorities say Williams and another driver were involved in a minor vehicle crash at the intersection of Summerhill Road and West 13th Street. Williams apparantly became upset and fired several shots at the other vehicle from a pistol before driving away.

Officers located both vehicles within minutes of receiving the call. The suspect was found standing behind his vehicle in the parking lot of 1801 New Boston Road.

As officers pulled up, they allegedly say the suspect attempting to conceal at pistol below a floor mat in the back hatch area of his vehicle.

Williams was taken into custody without incident. Officers say evidence found in the suspects vehicle indicated that he had fired several shots from inside the vehicle, with some striking the interior. Officers say they noted three bullet holes on the fender and hood of the other vehicle.

 

Williams was transported to the Bi-State Jail, where he remains in custody.  He is charged with two counts of Deadly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  His total bond has been set at $75,000.
