Plastic Bottle Solar Still – A Clever Survival ‘How To’

As one who is not so sure that the zombie apocalypse hasn't already begun, I must admit that I like watching stuff like this.It doesn't take much to go wrong and suddenly you're in a survival situation. If you're like me and you were not lucky enough to get your survival training supplied by Uncle Sam, then you might have an interest in DIY ideas like this and other survival techniques.

This is basically a small solar still using dirty water cleanup instead of digging a hole in the ground and using water evaporation off plants. But the principle is the same and so is the result. Water! With slight modification it should work either way.

Remember, in a survival situation, you can go about three weeks without food, but only three days without water. So any way you can learn how to get water could mean the difference in making it out alive or not.
