Pleasant Grove Takes Game One In Playoff Series

The Pleasant Grove Hawks have taken the first game of the best of three regional semi-final series with Prosper.The Hawks won last night 8-1. Game two is slated for 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Paris North Lamar High School. A game three if necessary would immediately follow. The Hawks now stand 30-5 on the 2012 Baseball Season.

Meanwhile, Elkhart took Game One of their best of three regional semi-final against Queen City by an 8-1 score. The Bulldogs will try and even the series when Game two is played at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon. A third game would follow that if necessary.
