The twin cities are getting ready for the 3rd Annual 'Dine on the Line' on Saturday, Oct, 7, 2017 in downtown Texarkana to benefit Main Street Texarkana restoration projects.
Some good news for the Texarkana area. Last week Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced that the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program awarded $2,824,799 in grants for projects in 47 Arkansas counties. According to a press release, Miller County was on the list.
The Texas Main Street Program of the Texas Historical Commission has recommended Main Street Texarkana for National Accreditation to the National Main Street Center.
Applications are being accepted for the 32nd Annual Main Street Christmas Parade to be held on Monday, December 5, at 7PM in downtown Texarkana. This year’s theme for the parade is “Letters to Santa.” All floats and entries must be light to be accepted.
