Texarkana Police arrested 56-year-old Jerry Mangus at 3:40PM after he allegedly fled from a vehicle crash at the intersection of W. 7th Street and Texas Boulevard. Patrol officers responded and were provided a description of the vehicle that had left the scene.

What began as a hit and run investigation in Texarkana, Texs last week has been upgraded to aggravated assault.

Texarkana Texas Police say 56 year Old Leamon Allen Jr. is hospitalized in serious condition after apparently being stuck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to work.
