Veteran's Day

The elections are over and whether your candidate won or not America still stands somewhat divided, somewhat united. This is not the Divided States of America, this is the United States of America.  It's time we focus on the men and women of our armed forces this Veteran's Day Sunday (Nov. 11) who have sacrificed their lives to bring us the freedom we endure today as an American.

The Texarkana Community Band, aka "Second Time Around Band" is holding a free Veterans Day Concert on Monday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Whether we’ve had family or friends serve in the armed forces or not, we all owe a debt of gratitude to the countless Americans who have fought for our freedom since the birth of the nation.
